Chateau du Puits es Pratx is a Napoleon III wine estate, located in the historic region of "Cathar Country" in the south of France.

The Chateau is surrounded by vineyards and a stunning view on the edge of a village called Ginestas in the Occitanie or Languedoc region of southern France. Only 1.5 hours away from Spain, it is situated in one of the sunniest parts of France.

Built in 1840, the Chateau was home to the largest producer of wine in the village, right up to 1990, and it still has its own vineyard which will be the backdrop to our wedding.

The Champagne reception will be held in the formal gardens at the front by the ancient barn, where the wine was produced. This has been beautifully restored as a reception hall. At the heart of the Chateau is a beautiful courtyard where the wedding dinner will be served under the stars.

We have chosen this venue for our wedding due to its stunning location, relaxed atmosphere, and ideal size so that all our closest friends and family can be together to celebrate with us.

Don’t forget to bring your swimming costume for the pool!
